When we met Rhys and Holly to have a chat about their special day, they had us at the word “lighthouse”. They were planning their wedding at the West Usk Lighthouse near Newport and asked us to be their photographers for the day. We were so excited building up the the day, as its such a rare opportunity to photograph at such an amazing and unique venue which comes complete with its own Dalek and Tardis! When the big day came, the weather was stunning! The sun was shining and there was a wonderful light breeze blowing across from the sea. Rhys and Holly proclaimed their love for each other with close family and friends, and partied on down in style on the roof top terrace listening to live music from none other than Holly’s dad. During the morning preparations we were walking the grounds to check out the rocks, and all we could hear is Holly’s dad singing a song to his little grand daughter. Such a beautiful moment, its going to be something we will always look back on and be honoured to have been there. Here’s to two wonderful people, Mr & Mrs Howell-Jones. May the future bring them endless love and happiness!
