We absolutely LOVE newborns photography sessions! Those tiny little toes, cheeky smiles (or wind but who's checking) and baby back rolls. Its all just too cute! Babies aren't tiny for very long, so capturing them during those first few precious day is all that much more important to us. By the time you settle at home, get into your routine and think about newborn photographs, its often too late. Our newborn style is very natural, cwtchy and cozy. Throughout the session your baby's comfort and wellbeing are of the upmost importance to us. We never force an uncomfortable or unsafe pose and listen to what baby likes from start to finish.

Your newborn session

Newborn photography sessions take place in the comfort of our beautiful garden studio space. Although we are a South Wales newborn photographer based in Neath, if you can't make it to our studio we may be able to make exceptions and can arrange to come to you. We have a big selection of baskets, blankets, bowls and other props which you may have seen in some of our previous sessions, but we are always adding to our collection. If there is a specific item you have seen in one of our images, just let us know. The newborn session itself can last anywhere from 1.5hrs up to the full 3hrs for any babies who are light sleepers, or just too cute for us to stop taking pics. During your newborn session, we try our very best to get at least two basket/blanket set combinations, and if we are super lucky, a third or some pics of yourselves with baby. The poses we get can depend entirely on the little one on the day. Some prefer to be on their side/back/front while others are so fast asleep they don’t care ( which is a dream to work with!). Above all else, your newborn session should be a beautiful experience to remember.
