What a beautiful day to get married this was and what a day to be a Wedding Photographer Swansea team. The sun was shining and the sky was a glorious blue, the buzz of excitement in the air was in abundance. Today was the day Naomi and Pete would get married. All the plans, the ideas, the shopping and the nerves all lead up to this one special day. To be fair, the whole morning, the getting ready, makeup and hair (by Morgan Foster Hair) was completely chilled, filled with laughter and yummy pastries. Its wonderful to have so many people getting ready together, there is always such a buzz of energy which makes our job that little bit more fun from the get go. The lads were getting ready at the hotel around the corner, so Jon popped on over to make sure they didn't miss out. Fresh out of hair and makeup they were ready to jump into their kilts from Macgregor Macduff and get into dapper mode, and wow don't they look sharp!
A not so mad dash (gosh these girls are organised) into their stunning emerald green dress from John Lewis, and out comes the absolutely gorgeous bride herself in an amazing Stella York wedding dress from Laura May Bridal .
For the I-do's they chose a church which we hold very dear in our hearts, as we got married there ourselves! St Matthews in Bryncoch. Being greeted by a Welsh male voice choir inside was beautiful. Theres nothing like a choir to make the hairs on the back of your neck stand up in celebration, but inside a church with those amazing acoustics its just something else.
Naomi and Pete fell in love with the Oxwich Bay Hotel for their reception, and when you see their images its hard not to see why. It's one of the few wedding venues where you can enjoy your meal and party the night away with such stunning views across the beach and out to sea. A quick zip and a fold of the marquee sides and you're blown away with natural beauty, and that unmistakable fresh seaside air to fill your lungs. The staff that run the day are so incredibly lovely, helpful when needed and on the ball to make sure your wedding timings go according to plan.
Their day was just incredible from beginning to end, and its days like this that we love that we get to be a Wedding Photographer Swansea team.
