Earlier this year, i (Jon) had the amazing opportunity of being an assistant photographer for international photographer – Craig George. I haven’t shot a foreign wedding up until this time so when the chance came i jumped on it! A few hours in the car, a short hop on a plane and you are in another world, other ways known as south west France ( i had to google map myself to find where i was, but i didn’t care, it was France!). The landscape, the buildings, the light, its all so romantic without even a single person placed for a photograph. The day started beautifully relaxed and in the most wonderful setting and the day continued like that all the way through with smiles, laugher and tears of joy.
A wedding in France is so different to one in the UK. There are almost no boundaries, no ceremony room walls to negotiate, endless light and everyone is so relaxed into the day. It was a wonderful experience, one which i would love to share with Chantele one day. For now, here are some of my favourite images from the day, enjoy!
