Honestly choosing our 2022 highlights has been a mammoth task, we fall in love with so many of our images. This blog post could easily be 1000 images long (I promise its not, it's only about 300 lol!)

We've loved every minute of our job and can't thank our couples enough for choosing us to capture and be a part of their big days. In fact thank you to all our couples, past, present and future for allowing us to do a job we both truly love. We can't imagine doing anything else with our lives

It's been an amazing year, getting to return to a few of our favourite South and West Wales venues. Including The King Arthur Hotel, Oldwalls, Clearwell Castle, Aberglasney Gardens, Llangoed Hall, The Cliff Hotel, Margam Orangery and Peterstone Court to name just a few. And getting to shoot in places which we've not had the opportunity to shoot in before, The Old Rectory, Glen-Yr-Afon and a stunning Tipi on some amazing private land in Llandovery.

We cannot wait for another awesome year capturing precious family moments, all the laughter and truly beautiful love stories. But for now here are our 2022 highlights

If you are planning your wedding for 2023, 2024 or even 2025, drop us a message to discuss you wedding photography!

We often book weddings 18-24 months in advance so please don't leave it too late to enquire. We really hate having to turn people away because we've already booked the date.

Need another reason to book us? Check out our wedding photography page to find out a little about us, why we love our job and take a nose at a few of our wedding galleries.

The Ladies

I (Chantele) love spending the morning with the ladies. All the nervous excitement, capturing the little details, the girly laughter, the Prosecco toasts and those first moments in your stunning dresses.

The Gents

Jon normally gets to spend the morning with the boys, which usually means a later and more relaxed start to his day, haha! But he still gets to capture the details and those final moments while the boys get their suits on.

All the Firsts

Wedding days are full of beautiful firsts. First looks, first kisses, first dances.

Whether its your first look with your bridesmaids, your father or your partner. Wedding Day firsts are often a moment filled with emotions that we love to capture for you.

The Romantic Portraits

Those photos that photographers usually share! The moments of just you and your partner, when you finally get 5 minutes away from your guests to really take in the commitment you have just made to each other.

You may have noticed our love for a silhouette too, so here are just a little selection of our favs from the year!

Lets Throw it!

We adore confetti shots, the fun and the colour they bring to an image. And boy have we have some awesome confetti moments this year.

I also take every opportunity to throw a veil. I mean, if your going to have a Chapel or Cathedral length veil I'm going to make the most of it! And it real does make for some magical portrait moments.

Family, Little Ones and Furry Ones

For us family moments are what make wedding days so special. Whether it's the family you're born into, or the friends you chose to surround your self with. Wedding photos have the ability to capture this moment in time and the people that are most important to you.

We adore kids at weddings, they make for the most fun moments. They have a freedom about them that adults don't!

And let's not forget the furry members of our family. We are big dog people so love nothing more than a wedding with a floof or two. Add a dicky bow and we can't resist!

The Laughter

Oh how we love to capture the laughter. The little giggles, the huge smiles and the full on cracking up moments when you simply can't suppress the laughter. Laughter is such a beautiful thing, and wedding days are usually filled with it.

The Selfie Moments

Everyone loves a selfie, and why the heck not. This is always a bit of a fun one for us. Capturing you, capturing a photo of yourself. The funny poses, silly faces, and a peace sign or two.

Lets get the party started

The moment the lights go down, and the music goes up, it's time to get your groove on. Jon will never set foot on a dance floor usually. But he is more than happy to have a boogie and get in on the action when it means capturing your guests busting a move or belting out a power ballad.

Light it up

And to end the night Jon loves to play with light! You will have seen plenty of shots like this on our social channels as its one of Jons specialities. A dark venue, evening wedding or late night portraits aren't a problem. We are light specialists, we love to work with flashes and our own light sources. We adore adding colour to a building or playing with sparklers and fairy lights.
