Cheap wedding photography doesn’t have to be awful – trust us.
We totally get it, You’ve been searching through photographers websites looking for the perfect wedding photographer for your day. You’re having a beautifully personal and relaxed wedding day with your nearest and dearest and want to keep things intimate and want a photographer to capture those special moments. All you can find however is page after page mentioning full day coverage, “international wedding photographer” and “documentary wedding photography” packages which don’t fit what you’re looking for. When you do ask for a custom quote its barely a chip off the full day package and still too many hours. You could of course book a cheap wedding photographer in Swansea, Cardiff or anywhere in South Wales to keep the quote reasonable, but you’ll likely end up getting what you paid for.
We love all weddings, big, small, busy, quiet and everything in-between, which is why we offer the chance to be able to book a professional wedding photographer at an hourly rate. The same high quality of photos and the same level of service, just for a shorter amount of time. Sure you could find a cheap photographer who will throw in the kitchen sink for the same price, but why risk having awful photos when you can have a gallery of professional, emotional and colourful images you’ll still love in 20/30/40 years time. From those few hours you’ll have a hundred memories of the tears, the joy and that ” WOW WE DID IT!” feeling as you walk down the aisle.
What you could get for ONLY three hours
Getting ready
If you’re getting ready at your venue, and getting married at say 12, well how about we get some of those finishing touches. The last bit of lippy, the dress going on and those last minute deep breaths and nervous laughs. The moment the dress goes on it all becomes real and exciting. Meanwhile the bridesmaids are scrambling to get ready on time, the kids are having a ball amongst all the excitement and your dad walks in to see you in your wedding dress for the first time. A moment he will treasure for ever, and we’ll be there to capture it.
The lads arriving
Lets not forget the lads in all their finest. They may be looking cool, calm and collected but inside they are just as excited and nervous as you are. Guests start arriving in their best too and the hugs and lipstick covered smackers are being laid on the groom thick and fast before he’s wicked away inside to wait for your grand entrance. That feeling you had when your dress went on and it all came together, for him, this is it. Sweaty palms, butterflies in his stomach and anxious to see you walk in the door. This is one of my favourite parts fo the day where emotions are bursting. Fast fleeting moments, smiles exchanged with parents and grandparents that just cant be missed.
The ceremony!
The bride bursts through the door with a beaming smile, the groom looks down at his hands as they tremble, this is it! Beautiful bridesmaids and flower girls lead the way, he turns and you both see each other for the first time today. Such a beautiful and magical moment as you exchange vows and promises to each other.
Family portraits
Such an important part of any wedding. When some photographers groan, we encourage a few group shots. To us they are a stamp in time, a snapshot of the family at that very moment and a photo that not only you, but parents and grandparents will treasure. As professionals, we aren’t afraid to corral family members and photograph them quickly but calmly so your family don’t need to be standing around outside for hours.
Candids
The natural photos. The ones of family enjoying themselves and being photographed without being pulled aside. The genuine moments that you just cant fake, and are gone in a blink of an eye. We don’t just hand over a gallery full of pictures of just the two of you, we make sure the family are just as important as you on your wedding day.
Couples Portraits
A brief moment to yourselves, to say hi and to have a little cuddle before heading back to the party. This time is yours to enjoy and to have a selection of beautifully taken portraits that you will love and print for your walls.
